What is Trelawny Consulting Group Ltd.?

We are a consultancy dedicated to providing extraordinary value to our clients. "Extraordinary" because we challenge ourselves to create imaginative, wholistic solutions to the puzzles our clients bring us.

Since the early 1980s, owners Marsha and Bruce Batchelor have been delighting people with designs and programs for marketing, communications and publishing challenges of all sorts. Some of our work has been entered into contests and won awards; however, to us, the highest reward has always been our clients' gratitude and success.

We've worked for all sizes and levels of government, business and non-profits. As needed, we enlarge our team by hiring or subcontracting to freelancers. A decade after we began doing this, someone coined the term "virtual company" which really doesn't reflect that a consultancy must have a very solid core of talent and administration, right?

We generally explain our strengths as lying in three areas:

• strategic planning and organizational reviews
• presentations and training, and
• management consulting and marketing/communications projects.

You'll see links at the left for more info about these focus areas, including descriptions of past assignments. Common to all projects is the puzzle-solving orientation we bring to the interaction. No assignment is a "problem" -- it is a "puzzle" or "challenge" to solve with the client.

Trelawny Consulting Group Ltd. is a corporation 100% owned by Bruce and Marsha Batchelor, registered in British Columbia, Canada. We also own and operate Agio Publishing House, which

• provides a channel for Bruce's own writing,
• produces and markets books for discerning independent authors, and
• serves as the working prototype of the publishing company of the future.

We've worked for clients in a range of countries, including longer-term assignments involving living overseas. These rich experiences, combined with our travels/adventures, give us an international perspective, allowing our clients the benefit of worldly views of values and markets.

Rates

As a professional management/design/marketing consultancy, we charge on a per-project basis, with pre-agreed budget, milestones and deliverables. All steps are scheduled in advance, and priced on a time & materials basis. Our base rate is $90 per hour for editing and design work; $1,200 per day plus travel expenses for management consulting.
